Marcus Thomas (pictured at left), co-founder of Cushwa Brewing in Williamsport, Maryland, and Jeremiah Johnson delivered a truck load of donated supplies that were collected as part of the Pack the Bus drive at its Governor Lane Boulevard location. The pair also brought donations from the Edward Jones business in the same complex. Carol Mowen, WCTA president, had worked with Thomas to coordinate the drive earlier this month. The materials will be available while supplies last at the WCTA Office on Oak Ridge Drive in the “Teacher Supply Closet” area. Teachers can contact WCTA to set up a time to “shop” or they can message Mowen to arrange for a specific time to stop by.
“We are grateful that Cushwa reached out to us to provide teachers with this support,” said Mowen. “We are fortunate to work in a county where so many businesses and individuals provide support to teachers to help us meet the needs of our students.”
