Spring Bus Trip to Washington, DC, to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture & other museums or DC monuments of your choice.

ITINERARY: Leave at 9:00 AM from the Downsville Pike Park and Ride. Arrive DC approximately 10:30. Visit the National Museum of the American Indian, the National Museum of American History, or other museums or sites along the National Mall in the morning, have lunch on your own, then meet the WCTA group at the National Museum of African American History and Culture at 1:00 PM for a timed ticket entry of 1:15 PM to spend the afternoon exploring the multiple floors or this museum. Leave DC @5:00. A “to-go” supper from the museum’s Sweet Home Cafe will be provided for the bus ride back. (You’ll pick your sandwich option when you sign up!)
This bus trip is sponsored by the WCTA Racial and Social Justice Comittee and is underwritten by a grant from the Maryland State Education Association.
