We can make our voices heard in many ways.

Check any of the possible contract actions that you would support / participate in during April and May.

Participate in a WORK TO RULE Day every Tuesday in April and May.
Wear black for Union Unity Days every Tuesday in April and May and post pictures on social media to call attention to our cause.
Write postcards to the WCBOE about why 1% is not enough.
Email the Board of County Commissioners (or write letters) asking them to provide more funding.
Come to the April 21, 2026, WCBOE Meeting at 6 PM at CES, wearing black.

Possible WCTA May Day Actions for May 2026

From organizing Solidarity Schools to planning for a work to contract week, we can do anything we put our minds to do. But that's the question, what are we willing to do as a collective action on May 1, 2026?

Check any of the possible "May Day" actions that you would support / participate in (either on May 1 or during Teacher Appreciation Week May 2-6)

Participate in a WORK TO RULE week for the May 2-May 6 Teacher Appreciation Week.
Participate in a WORK TO RULE Day on Tuesday, May 5 - National Teacher Appreciation Day.
